Men's Swimming Gear
Men's swimming gear from Zoot covers every session in the water: jammers and briefs for pool training, wetsuits and swimskins for open water and racing, plus caps and training aids. Our jammers and briefs are made from chlorine-resistant Forever+ fabric with UPF 50+. Below you will find whether a jammer or a brief suits you, what to wear in open water and answers to common questions.
Jammer or brief?
| Model | Cut | Key features |
|---|---|---|
| Swim jammer | close-fitting with a 9 inch inseam | front lined, inside drawcord at the waist, flatlock seams that minimise chafing |
| Swim brief | classic brief cut | fully lined, inside drawcord at the waist |
Both are cut from Italian Forever+ fabric that resists chlorine, sunlight and the pool deck, with UPF 50+ sun protection. You will find every model among our men's swimwear.
What to wear in open water
- Wetsuit: gives you buoyancy and keeps you warm in cooler water. Compare the models among our men's wetsuits.
- Swimskin: has no neoprene and goes over your tri suit in races where wetsuits are not allowed. At IRONMAN races that applies from a water temperature of 24.5 °C. You will find the models among our swimskins.
Caps and training aids
The silicone swim cap has a textured inside that prevents hair snags. For cold water, the 4 mm Thermo Cap covers your ears, and the Thermo Neoprene Bootie keeps your feet warm. The kickboard is made for kicking drills. You will find all of these among our swimming accessories.
FAQ
How should a jammer fit?
Our swimwear has a race fit and sits close. If you are between sizes or prefer a less compressive feel, go one size up.
How do I care for my swimwear?
Rinse it with fresh cold water after every swim.
What are buoyancy shorts for?
They lift your hips and legs in the water, so you train in a better body position. They are made from the same Yamamoto neoprene as our wetsuits and work in the pool and in open water.
You will find the women's models among our women's swimwear.
