Which men's tri suit suits your racing?

Every model below comes in men's sizes, and the links filter this page. Looking for a women's cut? You will find it on our page for women's tri suits.

  • Getting started: Core and Core+ with a more forgiving fit than our race suits, the Sprint Hyperglide for short races, and the Performance Front Zip as an affordable way into the sport.
  • Solid all-rounder: LTD, in Italian Shield fabric with Vento stretch mesh and many limited designs.
  • Best value: Ultra P1 and P1 Exos, developed in the wind tunnel and tested by Ben Hoffman and Sam Long, plus the Elite P1 for long distance.
  • Maximum performance: Ultra P1x, our fastest men's triathlon suit.

Sleeved or sleeveless?

On the bike, your arms and shoulders catch a large share of the wind. That is where sleeves pay off.

  • Aero suits with sleeves (show all): textured or wind-tunnel-tested fabric on the arms smooths the airflow and protects your shoulders from the sun. The Ultra P1 uses longer sleeves for this reason. The first choice for long bike legs.
  • Sleeveless suits (show all): maximum shoulder freedom and a cooler feel. A good fit for short, hot races and for swims without a wetsuit.

Middle and long distance: storage and cooling

Over 70.3 and Ironman distances, a men's triathlon suit has to carry nutrition and help you manage heat.

  • The Elite P1 has integrated ice pockets, a rear aero pocket, hip holsters and pockets on both legs.
  • The Ultra P1 has internal pockets for ice and cold sponges to lower your core temperature on the run.
  • The LTD Sleeveless Full Zip has cool storage pockets behind the neck and on the kidneys, and a full-length zip.
  • The Ultra P1x has a perforated Pro Carbon chamois that dries quickly and supports you over long hours.

Men's sizes and fit

  • Men's tri suits come in S to 2XL; the Performance Front Zip also in XS.
  • Zoot race suits are cut race fit: snug like a second skin, without folds at the stomach or loose fabric on the arms.
  • If you are between sizes or prefer less compression, choose the next size up.
  • Core and Core+ are cut more forgivingly than LTD and Ultra.

FAQ

What do men wear under a tri suit?

Nothing. The chamois is designed to sit directly on the skin, so underwear would only cause chafing.

Which men's tri suit is best for an Ironman?

The Elite P1 and Ultra P1x, both built for long distance with plenty of storage. The LTD Full Zip models are a reliable alternative with a full-length zip.

One-piece or two-piece?

A one-piece suit cannot ride up and is more aerodynamic. A two-piece kit with tri shorts lets you combine sizes for top and bottom.

Do you wear a tri suit under a wetsuit?

Yes. You swim in your tri suit and take only the wetsuit off in transition. Matching models are on our page for men's triathlon wetsuits.
