Running Clothes
Running clothes from Zoot: running tops, singlets, running shorts, tights and jackets for your training and your races. Almost every piece has UPF 50+ sun protection, our running tees and singlets cool you with Chillout fabric as soon as you sweat, and for cold days there are Thermo pieces with a soft fleece lining. Below you will find which running gear you need for what, what to wear in summer and winter and which fit suits you.
Which running clothes do you need?
- Running tees and singlets: Chillout fabric has a xylitol print that reacts with moisture and air to keep you cool while you run. The singlet has wide armholes, the tee set-in sleeves for free movement. For women there are also running bras and crop tops. You will find every model among our running tops.
- Running shorts: Most models have a quick-drying 4-way stretch outer short, an inner mesh brief and a zipped back pocket. The women's Pulse High-Rise Shorts are close-fitting instead, with a wide waistband and two hip pockets. Inseams range from 2 to 9 inches. More on this among our running shorts.
- Tights and capris: Full-length and three-quarter running bottoms with hip pockets and flatlock seams that feel comfortable next to the skin. For winter there are Thermo tights with a brushed lining. Go to running tights and leggings.
- Running jackets: From the lightweight windbreaker with a water-repellent finish to the FlashJacket with a waterproof membrane, taped seams and reflective details. Go to running jackets.
Running clothes for summer and winter
- In the heat: a singlet or running tee in Chillout fabric and short running shorts. For long runs in the sun there is the Sun Stop Hoodie with a hood: wet it with water and the xylitol on the inside adds extra cooling.
- In the cold: a Thermo Half Zip or Thermo Hoodie with a fleece lining that keeps you warm and moves moisture away from your skin, plus a Thermo tight. The Hallocore Thermal Tights have a water-repellent outer layer against light rain and reflective details for the dark months.
- In rain and wind: add a running jacket on top. The FlashJacket comes in black and, for extra visibility, in safety yellow.
You will find all our warm layers for running and cycling in our winter clothing.
Which fit suits you?
- LTD and Elite: these lines are cut in a race fit and sit close to the body. If you prefer a looser feel or are between sizes, go one size up.
- Core: the Core line has a slightly more relaxed athletic fit for training and everyday wear.
Running clothes for women and men

FAQ
What does UPF 50+ mean?
UPF is the ultraviolet protection factor of a fabric. With UPF 50+, less than one fiftieth of UV radiation passes through the fabric. Almost all our running tops, running shorts and tights are UPF 50+.
How does Chillout fabric cool you?
The fabric is printed with xylitol. When sweat or water reaches it, the xylitol reacts with moisture and air and creates a cooling feel on the skin.
Do your running shorts have a liner?
Most of them do, either a mesh brief or a longer inner short on the 2-in-1 models and the half tights. The women's Pulse High-Rise Shorts are close-fitting and have no liner.
Which size should I choose?
Our LTD and Elite models sit close to the body. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser feel, go one size up. The Core line has a slightly more relaxed fit.
